Attack on Roma Camp in Oslo with Fireworks and Stones

Four men are arrested for having attacked on Roma camp in Oslo with fireworks and stones on Saturday night.

15/07/2012 – The residents of the camp verified that they have been awakened by people who threw stones down on the camp, writes TV2.

The Roma people had come to the area with mattresses and other equipment to build a camp after they were driven out of the yard of a church in the city center. Neither the municipality, county or the Justice Department intervened the settlement of the camp in Arvoll region of Oslo.

However, the residents of the neighborhood express their concerns about the growing number of Roma people and fear that it will lead to pollution and crime in the neighborhood.
